As a Drive Thru Cashier you play a critical role in ensuring the Guest has a great experience. You are the last team member they will interact with prior to receiving their food and driving away. Your responsibilities include:

• Prep as per the shift Manager instructions
• Following the Slim Chickens Steps of Service
• Conducting opening, running and closing duties
• The initial greeting of the Guest … making them feel comfortable and letting them know you’re there to personally take care of them and say it with a smile.
• Properly communicating with all drive thru Guests to ensure that their orders are received and properly executed.
• Responsible for making all drinks for drive thru Guests
• Responsible for maintaining proper levels of items in the drive thru condiment station as well as all cups and lids.
• Maintaining adequate tea amounts in the drive thru tea urns
• Always being on the look out to help with any tasks in the dining room
• Working knowledge of the headset operations
• Must have full knowledge of the menu in order to answer any Guest questions … making recommendations you genuinely feel your Guests will enjoy.
• Informing Guests of specials and menu changes
• Handling all payment transactions with drive thru Guests
• Ensuring that the orders have been properly executed before bagging and handing the food to Guests.
• Taking phone orders
• Informing Manager of Guest comments
• Maintaining a clean service area, including sweeping and mopping the floor as needed.
• Making sure the headset is handed off to someone before using the restroom.
