BIM SPECIALIST (Liberty, South Carolina)
Our client in Fire Protection Systems is currently hiring a BIM SPECIALIST  to develop models of products for use by Engineering team. This position is a Direct Hire role. 

Job Duties and Responsibilities:
Responsible for the model development and maintenance of products in Autodesk Revit, Autodesk AutoCAD MEP, and other CADD software.
Works with models created in PTC Creo using Windchill PLM software.
Organizes a database of products developed in various BIM software packages.
Reviews product literature for key product parameters.
Enters key parameters in models.
Verifies the accuracy of product models within BIM software.
Identifies and implements methods of distributing models products to customers.
Provides liaison support between Product Engineering and Technical Services.
Provides liaison support between Technical Services and outside fire sprinklers software developers.
Researches and implements methods of converting models between file types.

Qualifications:
Ability to interpret engineer drawings and terminology.
Working knowledge of application design.
Solid understanding of mathematical calculations.
Knowledge of drafting and design work using CAD equipment.
Proficient in Autodesk Revit, Autodesk AutoCAD MEP, Creo, and Windchill.
Associates Degree in General Engineering, Architectural Engineering, Mechanical Design, or Related Field.
3-5 years minimum of BIM Design Experience.
