Responsibilities


The Licensed Personal Banker will attract, deepen and manage financial relationships with new and existing Retail Bank clients. This role is responsible for the execution of sales and service activities, maintaining product knowledge and mastering referral opportunities, with specific emphasis on the Branch Network, for client and relationship growth and retention. The Licensed Personal Banker will provide a differentiated customer experience that supports our Citibank value proposition, while adhering to the professional and ethical standards set forth by Citi, FINRA, and other regulatory bodies. The overall objective of this role is to foster relations with customers to build loyalty, increase sales, deepen relationships and drive increases engagement with the Citi Branch Network team and deliver client experience, provide servicing, acquire new relationships and deepen existing relationships through the cross-sell of relevant products and services. The licensed personal banker role is part of a pilot program, therefore responsibilities may change in the future

Experience:
  • 3-5 Years of Personal Banker experience
  • Bachelor's Degree preferred
  • Previous experience in banking or financial industry preferred
  • Securities Industry Essentials, Series 6 and 63, and Health & Life Insurance licenses required
  • NMLS registration; Safe Act compliant
  • Proficient sales skills
  • High impact communication skills to effectively engage affluent consumers
  • Superior service skills/"client first" approach resulting in strong customer loyalty
  • Consistently demonstrates clear and concise written and verbal communication skills
  • Proficient computer skills and banking technology skills
  • Demonstrated adaptability, flexibility, and willingness to work in a changing environment
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Strong integrity and professionalism
  • Regularly interact with clients/prospects, Branch team, Small Business and Mortgage. Requires ability to clearly communicate features and benefits of financial products/service and engage in sensitive discussions on financial goals and needs.
