Reporting into Suez WTS' SVP & Chief Procurement Officer, The Director - Procurement, Global Projects will work very closely with the Suez WTS' Chief Procurement Officer, aligning priorities and programs with the vision and objectives of the enterprise. This role will be leading important Procurement Programs and initiatives within the Global Procurement Function, in coordination with the internal and external stakeholders of the organization.

Core Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Business, Engineering, or similar field. Master's degree and / or certification like CPM/CPSM, PMP, etc.is a plus!

  • 10+ years of working experience in Strategic Procurement, Supply Chain along with solid background in data analytics and presentation skills.

    Useful skills & abilities:

  • Excellent verbal/written communication and interpersonal skills, capable of developing presentations and comfortable interacting with internal/external stakeholders and WTS senior management 

  • Demonstrate leadership skills, including the ability to inspire and influence a large cross-functional group to a flawless execution. An ability to influence business leadership and executives.

  • Demonstrated success of managing multiple initiatives

  • Proven success with Lean and Six Sigma methodologies


    Some of the key functions you'll be responsible for include: 

  • Key Initiatives: Coordinate and drive EBIT, Cash & Competitiveness impacting Procurement programs including but not limited to - Days Payable Outstanding (DPO), High Cost to Low Cost Spend migration, Should Costing, Make vs. Buy, Insourcing vs. Outsourcing, Single/ Sole Source Elimination, Financial Risk Mitigation & Sustainability Programs, etc.

  • Influence & Change Management: Exercise horizontal leadership and collaborate and work with high rank company officers, procurement peers, suppliers and other partners to drive right focus on necessary change management and transformation.

  • People Leadership: Build, Mentor, Coach and Run a group of High Performing Global Talent that will seamlessly work with Category Management, Procurement Operations, Regional and P&L Procurement to drive tangible results.

  • Facilitative Leadership: Responsible for deploying advance program management tools and techniques to track program milestone progress and create appropriate operating rhythm with the stakeholders.

  • Culture & Talent Ambassador: Lead Culture and Talent Roadmap for WTS Global Procurement and help the team create a best-in-class culture and talent attraction and retention plans with collaborating with Procurement organization.
