A position has been created in the SPS ISC Planning Centre of Excellence team (PCOE) for an ambitious Supply Chain Professional. You will report to the VP SPS ISC Planning and not only will you learn from the best, you will have the opportunity to carve out a space for yourself to show your leadership skills and play an instrumental role in the success of the company.
The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting the centralized multi-business units' oversight of master planning, supply planning, inventory planning, & optimization while considering capacity and constraints of manufacturing against the demand forecast to ensure adequate inventory levels are maintained. The role will be dedicated to implementing Corp policies and procedures within the Business Units (BU's) and driving the adoption of RapidResponse for Supply and Inventory Planning.
The objective is to ensure an integrated approach in supply planning within the business units and take an active role in responding to the demand requirements from the business, ensuring that there is a supply plan in place to communicate what needs to be produced and purchased to the manufacturing and supply base within the BU's. Responsible for setting of the correct levels of inventory within the Supply plan by understanding the demand volatility and supply chain lead times. Specifically, the creation of a safety stock strategy and plan that enables continuity of product availability at the optimal level. This will require you to interpret data, then develop and implement supply plans and strategies accordingly including inventory levels, inventory turns and safety stock levels. Will work with and influence the plant leadership team to manage & facilitate the decision to acquire internal/external capacity to balance demand & supply.
Must be capable of translating objectives into a deliverable strategy to achieve business goals and create a competitive advantage of the product portfolio. Focusing on building a world-class team, utilizing and deploying Lean Six Sigma techniques, driving continuous improvement activities and achievement of superior performance across all KPIs (Key Performance Indicators). Job Responsibilities:
Partner with the Corp Planning COE to implement World Class Supply and Inventory planning methodologies across Honeywell corporate wide
Serve as the Supply and Inventory Planning Subject Matter Expert, co-developing Supply Chain Academy content and leading regular educational boot camps and online Modules
Continuously develop and improve Supply and Inventory planning methods to improve business results
Find standardized leading and lagging indicators across disparate lines of business to improve predictive accuracy.
Implement standard operating process across all products and functions that seamlessly work together to deliver exceptional service to the field
Coach and mentor planners to increase their skills and capability in preparation for promotion within HoneywellMUST HAVE:
Inventory & Supply Planning (5 years minimum)
Extensive knowledge of Supply Planning, MRP, Inventory Optimization
Ability to translate statistical data across the end to end planning
History of success utilizing multi-echelon inventory optimization
Advanced knowledge of SAP/MRP/ERP and Advanced Planning tools
Supply and inventory network planning in a global and/or complex environment
Strong understanding and use of KPI's
Knowledge of Lean Methodology and the use of these in a digital process environment
Education: Bachelor's Degree (i.e. Engineering, Supply Chain, or related technical area)WE VALUE:
