PRCS- Creating Community through People, Parks and Programs
Do you enjoy being outdoors in the summer? Are you interested in a summer job with a flexible schedule? Would you like to earn money while having fun? Then become part of the Department of Parks, Recreation & Community Services Summer Lifeguard crew. PRCS is seeking applicants for part-time Summer Lifeguards beginning in May 2021 and running through September 2021 at the Franklin Park pool in Purcellville and the Lovettsville Community Center pool. When you join us, you will employ your unique skills to do important and meaningful work critical to the success of the pool as well as the community as a whole. Good communication skills and self-motivation are traits needed for the successful candidate.
As a lifeguard you will monitor pool activities and ensure the safety of swimmers by enforcing pool rules and regulations and ensure a clean and safe aquatic environment. Attention to detail is needed, as daily custodial duties and maintaining aquatic facility records are required. Please include all applicable paid or volunteer experience on the application. Salary will be based on qualifications.
