This role is responsible for ensuring proper and safe transportation of Guests and Team Members between properties. Transportation Drivers are required to interact with Guests, Team Members, and Supervisors on a daily basis. Drivers will also fill other Team Member positions if not needed as a driver.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Must be able to promote the park with the utmost enthusiasm and pride while interacting with Guests
Daily inspections of assigned vehicles, providing all written documentation of inspections to your Supervisor.
Compliance with all state laws and regulations, in addition to park policy, regarding operation of a motor vehicle.
Providing prompt and courteous resolutions to Guest concerns on a daily basis while seeking new methods to increase Guest satisfaction
Read and understand the Standard Operating Procedures for assigned work location
Ensure Guest safety and satisfaction standards are met in their stay at Six Flags
Respond to an emergency situation in the area and maintain control until a Supervisor arrives, adhering to all guidelines set forth by Six Flags
Ensure that image, cleanliness and courtesy standards are met at all times
Handling various ticket transactions including advanced sales, group sales, complimentary tickets, season tickets, promotional tickets, and reconciling ticket problems
Responsible for the accurate recording of all ticket options, ensuring an accurate record of Guest attendance
Ability to successfully operate and understand technological aspects of a computer, tablet, phone or POS terminal
Complete any and all tasks as requested by Six Flags Management
Additional Job Requirements:
At least 18 years of age
Must provide Valid Driving License; CDL with a P endorsement is preferred
Able to communicate effectively in the English language, including the ability to read, speak, and understand the English language. Bi-lingual a plus
Available to work flexible hours including nights, weekends, and holidays
Must have good cash handling and customer service skills.
Requires continuous sitting or standing, bending, eye/hand coordination, near vision, walking, lifting, hearing and speech. Requires frequent kneeling, manual dexterity, gross motor skills, and color definition. Requires the use of a telephone
Must be willing to be cross trained to work in all positions of the department. This includes: Ticket Seller, Ticket Greeter, Season Pass Services, Market Research Interviewer, Guest Relations, Toll Plaza, Ticket Resolution Center, and All Season Pass Dining Specialist for both the Theme Park and Hurricane Harbor
Must be able to stand/walk for up to 6 hours at a time and as many as 14 hours a day
Must be able to walk up to 3 miles per day over various surfaces
Must be able to lift and/or carry 25lbs consistently over 25 feet over various surfaces.
Must be able to lift and lower 5lbs above shoulder level
Must be able to climb a stepladder up to 6ft in height
