We are seeking an experienced leader with commercial construction experience. The ideal candidate must be highly motivated, and a self-starter with the ability to provide crew leadership while performing work at project sites and nearby businesses in Eastern North Carolina. Minimum 3+ years of experience in the installation of walk-in coolers/freezer and HVAC
Minimum 2+ years of experience troubleshooting HVAC/Refrigeration
Excellent communication skills both oral and written
Ability to read and understand prints, work plans, assembly drawings and equipment manuals
Proven ability to lead a team and stay focused
High school diploma/GED required
Valid Driver’s License and acceptable driving record
Ability to operate construction job site equipment a plus
On occasion, some evenings and weekend work required
Ensuring all projects are delivered on time, according to requirements and without exceeding budget
Must be a self-starter with the ability to perform all duties assigned by the Project Supervisor or other management with limited supervision
Must be able to climb ladders, work in manlift equipment, lift 75 lbs., and work in confined spaces
Ensure adherence to all health and safety standards and report issues
Collaborate with the Project Supervisor to determine the specifications of the project and record completed work to aid in the planning and completion of projects
Determine needed resources (manpower, equipment, and materials) from start to finish with attention to budgetary limitations
Willingness to follow directions provided by the Project Supervisor and other management
