Job Summary 

Performs various business-related functions for the University Dining department. Coordinates group business reservations and invoicing across multiple locations, as well as provides customer service and Meal Plan sales support for the Meal Plan office. Responsible for physical inventory entry and other data entry within the electronic system, and management of preventative maintenance schedules for the department. 



  • Manages and coordinates group business reservations 
  • Manages group business calendar, communicates with cashiers and managers, interacts with group business customers 
  • Manages the business webpage and request form, collects tax exempt or other needed forms, initiates invoicing and coordinates logistic and room setup 
  • Provides customer service support for Meal Plan office, included but not limited to: student, staff and faculty meal plan sales, Community Supported Agriculture Program sales, answers phones and department website contact form questions 
  • Manages University Dining To-Go Program 
  • Manages CSA Program sales and distribution 
  • Responsible for contract management, records retention, student tracking, vendor relations, account management and material ordering of assigned areas or projects 
  • Conducts weekly and monthly entry of physical inventory counts into approved electronic system 
  • Collects physical inventory count sheets, enters data into the system, communicates with operational staff, coordinates with Campus Services finance department, records and resolves inventory discrepancies and provides unreported inventory lists 
  • Manages and maintains preventative maintenance schedules for Dining Halls and retail locations, ensuring adherence to guidelines and regulations 
  • Assists with department events and marketing as needed
  • Provides administrative support to the department as needed


Required Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent 
  • Current, valid, and unrestricted Georgia driver's license 
  • One (1) years of experience in a related field Preferred


Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution of higher education in related field 


Preferred Experience 

  • Experience within a University setting
  • Experience in Food Service
  • Experience with Eatec or other inventory management system


Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities 

  • Must be able to grasp and learn new systems/software quickly and easily
  • Able to handle multiple tasks or projects at one time meeting assigned deadlines 
  • Excellent interpersonal, initiative, teamwork, problem solving, independent judgment, organization, communication (verbal and written), time management, project management and presentation skills
  • Proficient with computer applications and programs associated with the position (i.e. Microsoft Office suite)
  • Strong attention to detail and follow up skills
  • Strong customer service skills and phone and e-mail etiquette
