About the Role

Our Market Operations team has an exciting opportunity for an Operations Team Lead. In this role, you'll be leading Spin's day-to-day operations in your city and building a highly efficient operations team, on a specific weekly shift (including overnights and weekends). The ideal candidate will have strong leadership experience along with great communication skills.

The Operations Team Lead ensures that Spin is delivering safe, reliable and enjoyable service, delighting customers and supporting the goals of our government partners. You love solving problems, thinking critically, and achieving the highest levels of performance.

This is a non-exempt position, with full benefits, paid hourly and eligible for overtime.

Responsibilities

  • Personnel management: managing, coaching and motivating personnel to achieve superior performance
  • Warehouse Management: monitor assets and repair productivity
  • Manage deployment, ongoing maintenance, and efficiency of Spin vehicles
  • Closely track key operational metrics and ensure the team is running smoothly
  • Step up to perform the duties of a Shift Lead, Operations Specialist, or Maintenance Specialist when needed
  • Coordinate schedules of Operations Specialists and Maintenance Specialists
  • Utilize spreadsheets and internal tools to report on team performance
  • Perform safety checks and minor repairs, in the Spin warehouse and in the field
  • Load, drive, and unload up to 70 lbs of scooters (with or without accommodation) between the warehouse and around the local area
  • This role will work weekends + nights

Must Have

  • 2-4 years of experience leading warehouse and driver personnel in operations, logistics, distribution, or related sectors.
  • Must be 18 years or older with 2 years of driving experience and a valid driver’s license
  • Technical background: you are familiar with Spreadsheets, are proficient at math, and are tech savvy
  • Excellent communication skills, written and verbal
  • Proficient in English

Highly Desired

  • 4+ years of experience as a warehouse supervisor working in operations, logistics, distribution, tech,or related sectors
  • Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Operations, Transportation/Logistics, Business or any STEM field
  • Familiarity with local streets and neighborhoods
  • Results Oriented, proactive problem solver

Pay Rate: $21.75/hour
