Construction Coordinator:

Seraphim Equities located in Great Neck, NY is looking to hire a candidate that will be responsible for the day-to-day internal/backend construction management in a multi-state, high volume environment as an integral and highly critical member of our team. They will be very time conscious and able to track multiple deliverables for several files simultaneously. They will possess an extreme desire to appeal to our investor by meeting timelines and communicating proactively and regularly.


You are very detail oriented. You are comfortable communicating with contractors, material providers, sub-contractors, specialty trade providers and other vendors to obtain information, quotes, proposals and follow through on the execution of each vendor. You can juggle multiple priorities and are very time conscious. You understand the importance of time and work diligently to ensure that day to construction is being fulfilled by our various vendors. You carry yourself professionally and represent our Group both internally and externally.

Job Description:

  • Review and manage all field communications, needs, and wants with the back-end office support team
  • Create and prepare construction progress reports for all projects on a weekly basis
  • Coordinate meetings and manage the CM's calendar and day to day schedule
  • Assist project managers and coordinators in obtaining and pulling needed permits for each project
  • Assist construction manager in developing budgets and timelines for each project
  • Identifying and sourcing material providers
  • Ordering and coordinating material deliveries with CM or QC Foreman
  • Monitor construction expenses to ensure all payments are in line with the original and approved budget
  • Control fund releases (coordination of draw inspections)
  • Coordination of sub-contractor agreements, licenses, insurances, proposals, and execution of all needed documents


  • Familiar with standard concepts, practices, and procedures of the Real Estate Industry, demonstrating the willingness and ability to follow-up diligently on requires tasks
  • Demonstrates a sense of urgency when carrying out any task
  • Ambitious and enthusiastic with excellent people skills
  • Exceptional telephone skills - ability to communicate thoughts and ideas clearly and effectively
  • Competitive attitude, with the ability to work well in a fast-paced, team-driven environment
  • Understanding of concepts needed to balance a real estate transaction and development
  • Very quality conscious, takes extreme pride in work done well
  • Ability to work on multiple files concurrently without making errors
  • Intermediate to advanced experience working within Microsoft Office Applications

Job Type: Full-time

Compensation: Salary

Work Schedule/Hours: Monday through Friday: 9am – 5:30pm
