POSITION DESCRIPTION
Children’s Residential Care Program located in Largo, Florida serving boys in the foster care system who have experienced trauma. We re now hiring for the position of direct care staff and CNAs for children that have special needs and/or behaviors.
You will be providing direct supervision to program residents, guidance on behaviors, helping residents achieve meaningful outcomes, providing daily documentation, communicating with program administration on concerns/issues regarding residents and program, administering medications, assisting with ADLs as needed, and providing a supportive environment for children who have experienced prior trauma in their lives.
Qualified applicants will have experience including:
- Experience working with individuals w/ challenging behaviors
- Experience working with individuals that have special needs
- Experience working in the healthcare industry
- Experience working in group homes
Preferred Qualifications (not required)
- Experience in/or has been certified in a hands-on crisis management system (ex: PCM, SAFE, CARE, MAB, etc..)
- Behavioral assistant/ Behavior Health Technician training.
- CNA
- Registered Behavioral Tech (RBT
- PCM Training/Certification
