Direct Report to: Vice President Engineering
This dynamic role is responsible for leading, developing and executing the strategic priorities for the information technology function which includes IT operations, development operations and software engineering for both internal and external customers. This role will report directly to the Vice President Engineering based out of the Rochester, NH office.
Lead and build and a new software development practice responsible for developing tools, APIs and applications to support and interconnect Atlantic Broadband’s products and services
Partner with data management team and its analysts to ensure data is properly extracted from all relevant sources within the company to allow for its analysis and to facilitate artificial intelligence efforts
Manage the private cloud and discrete server infrastructure including VMWare, HP, Netapp, Windows, Linux and related technologies
Manage the public cloud infrastructure and planning and executing a targeted private to public cloud migration ensuring any migrated services are modified as necessary to ensure maximum cloud benefit
Lead the desktop and laptop infrastructure and related software and staff supporting over 1,000 employees.
Lead the call center IVR/ACD/SIP software stack
Partner with the corporate cyber security to ensure resources are architected and deployed in a secure fashion
Manage the development of security and coding procedures to ensure effective patching and vulnerability management
Collaborate with internal auditors to validate policies and procedures, ensure compliance and when necessary ensure mitigation is in place to minimize risk
Assume all budget responsibilities for Information Technology and ensure that capital is spent in an efficient manner
Mentor,lead, and develop the team to ensure they have the technical, functional and core competencies to deliver business results and remain agile in a changing business environment.

10+ years’ leadership experience in an Information Technology role with a track record of mentoring, leading and developing talent
Experience leading Software Development teams, preferably in an agile, DevOps, and/or CI/CD environment
Ability to use computer based office applications such as Excel, MSWord, Google gSuites etc.
Cable/MSO experience a plus
Demonstrated competence of security concepts and best practices required
Knowledge of common software development methodologies, practices, integration approaches and load balancing/high-availability strategies
Attention to detail and accuracy required.
Ability to thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced environment where learning and growth are promoted
Internally motivated, able to work proficiently both independently and in a team environment
Strong communication skills with both internal team members and external business stakeholders
