Hiring a Class A CDL Truck Driver in the Sayreville, NJ area for a local position. Monday through Friday start time 5-6am, home every night! Overtime after 40 hours per week and guaranteed paid 8 hours a day. Drivers are responsible for transporting palletized dry food ingredients between our warehouse, vendors, and customer locations in a safe and timely manner. Trucks are preloaded and pre-routed, regular routes are light touch (80% bumping docks, 20% street deliveries), 5-6 stops per day.

Requirements:

• High school diploma or GED required
  
• 1 year verified experience required, 2-3 years experience preferred
  
• Manual Transmission experience required
  
• Valid Commercial Driver s License A (CDL A)
  
• Clean MVR and accident history
  
• Current DOT medical card
  
• Must be able to lift 50-100 pounds

Position Details:

• Complete deliveries of pre-loaded trucks per the B/L on regular routes - includes routes into NYC boroughs 2-3 times a week, excluding Staten Island or Manhattan
  
• Routes are light touch, 80% bumping docks, 20% street deliveries - 70% same stops per route per week
  
• Perform pre & post trip inspections daily on assigned vehicles, complete the associated forms and file accordingly.
  
• All trucks are newer with full maintenance leases kept in good condition
  
• Adhere to the companies Driver s Handbook policies and procedures.
  
• Perform any other tasks assigned to support and improve the overall team operations

Shift and Schedule:

• Monday through Friday
  
• 5-6am start until route is finished, typically 6-9 hours per day
  
• $26.00/hr
  
• Paid 8 hours minimum per day
  
• Overtime after 40 hours
  
• Home daily
