Bed Bath & Beyond is actively seeking a Compensation Analyst to join our Corporate team. The role will sit in our Union, NJ headquarters.

The Compensation Analyst will assist with the development, implementation, and administration of the Company's total compensation (direct and indirect) strategies, programs and guidelines to align with business objectives.

Responsibilities:
  • Participates in the implementation and administration of compensation programs and policies for the Company
  • Performs ad-hoc analysis and generates reports in support of the administration compensation programs
  • Participates in the administration of the annual compensation planning process by compiling employee eligibility, position, salary, and other information, providing managers with information, and preparing reports for review and approvals
  • Maintains and analyzes compensation information, performs ad-hoc compensation analysis, job evaluation and job documentation, and participates in surveys to determine program trends and best practices.
  • Participates in compensation surveys submission process.
  • Ensures compensation programs and policies comply with legal and regulatory requirements.
  • Documents internal processes and procedures
  • Maintains data quality/integrity within the HR system
  • Performs other elated duties as assigned
Qualifications:
  • BS/BA in Human Resources, Finance, Business, or related field.
  • 2+ years of experience in compensation.
  • Receives a moderate level of guidance and direction
  • Performs a range of assignments related to job discipline
  • Uses prescribed guidelines or policies in analysing situations
  • Possesses an understanding of domestic and international HR processes and requirements.
  • Preferred experience with Workday HRIS
  • Skilled in Microsoft Excel (proficiency in creating formulas, pivot tables, and Vlookups)
