Currently, we are seeking to hire a Manager, Retail Channel Systems.  

Summary of job responsibilities:

  • Managing diverse sales channel systems, such as showroom Point-of-Sale systems and online webstores. 
  • Acting as the managing liaison between business stakeholders, support teams, vendors and partners for both existing and upcoming systems.
  • Collaborating on strategy and execution, through the use of solution demonstrations and similar activity, to stakeholders.
  • Performing and facilitating system integration testing, user testing, and quality testing.
  • Managing execution plans and milestone checkpoints applicable to each initiative.
  • Managing relationships with vendors and being the primary communications point.
  • Responsible to meet or exceed all goals and key performance indicators (KPIs).
  • Work collaboratively with IT leadership and business area owners to align on business strategies and priorities.
  • Lead and oversee the development, management and maintenance of internal and externally developed systems in support of direct-to-consumer sales.
  • Develop goals, plans and standards consistent with the technological, administrative, legal and ethical requirements/objectives.
  • Deliver clear vision, direction, and standards to the IT team and business partners and ensures their compliance.
  • Identifying requirements for internal and external sales channels in the area of:
    • Solution product and pricing (Item setup, discounts and more in all systems)
    • The Quote to Order process
    • Integrations between sales channel systems and related enterprise systems
    • Identifying, specifying, executing and testing NetSuite configurations/automations
    • Proper accounting and financial reporting of transactional activity
    • Supply Chain and Fulfillment activities
    • Billing and Payment requirements
    • Reporting in NetSuite, the Lovesac Data Warehouse and other systems
  • Project Scope Definition, Planning and Tracking as well as effective Communication and Change Management, Gap Analysis and Mitigation Planning.
  • Planning and conducting System Integration Testing and User Acceptance Testing.
  • Insuring high quality operational practices and training are established and implemented.
  • Planning, communicating and executing towards deliverables for sales channel systems.
  • Contingency Planning.
  • Contribute to Integration Strategy.
  • Develop Point-of-View on Application System Opportunities.
  • Contributing to long-term strategy including Priorities and Synergies.
  • Perform any other duties as requested by management.

This position will report into Corporate Headquarters based Stamford, CT and will require flexibility to work both onsite as well as remote.

Requirements & Qualifications

  • Responsible to meet or exceed all goals and key performance indicators (KPIs).
  • Bachelor's Degree in Information Systems or related field required.
  • MBA or other relevant post-graduate certification preferred.
  • Exceptional knowledge and experience with Enterprise-level business systems, including cross-platform and inter-company integration.
  • Strong business knowledge in Point-of-Sale, partnering with Third-Party Sales vendors, and integrating revenue sharing and accounts receivable with Lovesac's systems.
  • A minimum of 10 years' experience in Information Technology, management of IT and cross-functional teams, business process analysis and/or other related areas.
  • Experience with Business Continuity planning and recovery, with systems security and protection of operational assets and all customer data.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office: Word, Excel & PowerPoint.
  • Strong working knowledge required with sales platforms, particularly NetSuite or similar experience with managing multiple cloud-based systems (i.e. Celigo, Magento 2).
  • Must be results driven and utilize knowledge to meet or exceed KPIs and goals.
  • Must have proven time management skills and quickly adapts to a changing business environment.
  • Able to prioritize responsibilities with the appropriate level of urgency, able to listen and can use this information to solve problems, anticipate issues and make correct decisions based on a variety of situations.

  • Must have the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines consistently.

  • Must be capable of using and operating all equipment as required, including but not limited to: iPad, laptop, etc. Be able to move objects (including medium to large furniture items up to 75 pounds) from a lower to a higher position or horizontally from position-to-position or be able to assemble furniture while working on the selling floor or in our warehouse.
  • Must be able to travel, as required by the Company in its sole discretion, for occasional meetings and conferences using various forms of transportation.
