Performs Information System Security Officer (ISSO) and Information Technology duties for Mission Planning and Analysis System; specific focus on support to USSTRATCOM J53 (Nuclear Mission Planning Division) and USSTRATCOM J59 (War Plans Evaluation Division). Requires knowledge of Risk Management Framework and System Analysis. Primary Duties/Responsibilities
Manage day-to-day IT requirements at multiple classification levels. Develop and execution plans to respond to routine, urgent, and emergency IT issues. Prepare, coordinate, and maintain, System Security Authorization Agreements, System Security Plans, certification and accreditation packages, and other applicable documentation as specified and in accordance with DoD standards and guidance. Keep leadership informed on status of all Authorities to Operate, Connect, Test, etc. When required, be prepared to respond within 2 hours during duty week and within 4 hours over weekends in the event of planned or unplanned power or network outages that affect the unit mission. Implement a version control system and IT Configuration Control Board which will retain and dramatically improve the existing processes, increase overall control of the data, and better maintain the IT systems and computer software installed on the IT systems to meet government security and auditing policies. Provide content and information management services across all network security domains to include assisting with the management of identification, installation, configuration control, and maintenance (including upgrades) of mission systems administrative and analytical systems and Software (including TS/SCI/SAP, and Joint Worldwide Intelligence Communications System (JWICS)). Plan and execute audits as established by the JSIG. Work hand in hand with the system administrators to properly set configuration controls, with proper documentation. Coordinate with leadership and program manager(s) on policies and procedures for personnel access and use of Government IT assets and capabilities. Organize and coordinate the activities of IT Help Desk support personnel including the installation, monitoring, and maintenance of Government IT assets. Assist in coordinating with various government organizations (e.g., DoD or interagency) to identify, review, and evaluate candidate data sources and applicable local and national data standards for mission utility.
