Assistant Shipping Manager
We are looking for an Assistant Shipping Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a BA or high school degree with experience in a relevant field, be a self-starter and be able to think creatively and work on his/her own.
Attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment is crucial. Familiarity with MS Office programs is a must. Amazon Seller Central experience is a great plus. Previous experience in a shipping position is a benefit. The shipping associate must also be able to lift up to 45 lb on occasion.
Usual working hours are 9-5 during the week with options for overtime.
Responsibilities and Duties
Typical duties of the position includes creating batches of orders to be shipped daily, creating various labels used in the packing and shipping of the order management process, creating shipping labels for orders, picking the products for individual orders, packing orders and shipping them out. Ideal candidate will also be responsible for creating shipment plans for our big batch shipments, according to the specifications of our vendors. Ability to work with minimal supervision, effectively is a must.
