We are looking for a highly motivated Senior Buyer,The Senior Buyer is primarily responsible for the acquisition materials and services for the company, management of vendors, and monitoring the flow of goods and services in our supply chain. Quality, on-time delivery, and cost management are critical to the success of the company, and are the main priorities of the Senior Buyer. Senior Buyer Responsibilities: Purchase materials, supplies, and services that align with production rates and sales requirements. Utilize ERP and Microsoft software to determine material and service needs, prepare and send purchase orders to suppliers. Developing an effective and accurate system for monitoring purchase orders. Communicate with vendors regarding delivery schedules, quality issues, and cost concerns. Expedite supplier orders as required to support production. Communicate supply chain information to other departments and management. Assisting the Purchasing Manager with maintaining inventory levels and materials on a regular basis. Effectively communicating with the management team to ensure that company goals are being met. Requirements Bachelor’s degree in administration, logistics, supply chain or related field. Proven experience in purchasing in a Tier 1 Automotive supplier environment. Proficiency in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and Outlook. Knowledge of MRP/ERP software as related to supply chain management. Commitment to quality and attention to detail.
