Overview LMI is seeking a skilled Staff Logistician to support a client in Stafford, VA. This position requires an Active Secret Clearance. LMI staff will help the client lead, manage, and direct the development, acquisition, production/procurement, fielding, and sustainment of Chemical, Biological, Radiological, and Nuclear (CBRN) defense systems and equipment. Used by the military services within the DOD and by various Other Government Agencies, these systems, capabilities, and items of equipment provide critical force protection against CBRN threats world-wide. Responsibilities * Assist the Property Book Officer (PBO) with property accountability actions that include maintaining asset visibility; data cleanup, update Accountable Property System of Record (APSR), and equipment transfers. * Assist the PBO with annual, installation, change of command and special inventories, and prepare/submit reports with the findings. * Provide assistance with reconciling hand receipts, cataloging property, maintaining property book records, managing inventories, lateral transfers, and the management of excess property. * Develop, analyze, and validate/recommend sustainment elements and supportability requirements for acquisition effort. * Conduct property accountability oversight of Government Furnished Property/Government Furnished Material (GFP/GFM) in possession of contractors with Defense Contracting Management Agency (DCMA). Conduct ad hoc inventory of Government Furnished Property / Government Furnished Material (GFP/GFM). * Conduct logistical analyses to identify, define, and document acquisition program integrated product support requirements. * Attend working level Integrated Product Teams (IPTs) and the Property Accountability IPT. * Provide input to Existence & Completeness (E&C) Audit integrated master schedule (IMS) in conjunction with PBO and updates * Assist with physical inventory and perform corrective action to identified deficiencies found during reconciliation. * Capture complete data for all physical inventory items including nomenclature, national stock number, serial number, and any other field specified * Participate in In-Process Reviews (IPRs), and program updates. * Provide advisory assistance to programmatic personnel in the requirements and procedures for loading information into the JPEO CBRND Material Fielding Tracking Tool (MFTT) and Army AE2S and DST systems. Qualifications * Minimum 10 years' experience in in DoD Acquisition Lifecycle Logistics. * DAWIA Level III certification in Life Cycle Logistics is desired. * Strong background in property accountability, property book management and operations, and asset management. * Understanding of inventory management principles, policies, and procedures. * Familiarity with the following sytems a plus: * Defense Property Accountability System (DPAS) * Logistics Modernization Program (LMP) * Army Enterprise Systems Integration Program (AESIP) * Army Equipping Enterprise System (AE2S) * Web Federal Logistics Information System (WEBFLIS) * Decision Support Tool (DST) * Active Secret Clearance.
