ADESA Buffalo in Akron, NY is immediately hiring a full time Mechanic Shop Clerk.
This position performs administrative duties to support the Mechanic Shop and may also assist the Body and Detail Shop.
You will be required to perform various general clerical duties, maintain various files, data, produce reports and correspondence for the supervisor/manager.
Post transactions to vehicle account i.e., mechanical repairs, parts, PSI's, etc.
Post the shop technician incentive pay for work completed
Perform customer service transactions. Work with other departments to ensure service transactions are authorized.
Qualifications:
This position performs administrative duties to support the Mechanic Shop and may also assist the Body and Detail Shop.

Qualifications:
- Must be 18 years of age or older
- 1 to 2 years of experience in the field or a related area.
- Must successfully complete a pre-employment background check and drug screen (excludes THC)
- Computer skills required to process customer billing
- Hourly pay range between $16 - $19 based on experience
