As a member of our ISG internship experience, you and your intern team will be driving an end to end project that will be making a big impact towards our ISG Strategy. Your project team will be supported by technical subject matter experts, mentors and peer advisors that will provide day to day support, grow your Dell network, and assimilate you into the Dell and ISG culture. **Essential Requirements:** - Working towards an Engineering, Technology or Computer Science related degree - Understanding of Computer Science Foundations and basic knowledge of the Software Development Cycle - Strong problem solver, detail oriented with analytical skills - Highly motivated with a learning mindset and an ability to ramp quickly - Strong interpersonal and communication skills that will make you a great collaborator in a global team environment - Ability to multi-task, prioritize and deliver results with a sense of urgency **Desirable Requirements:** - Experience with at least one scripting language like Python, PERL, or bash - Proficiency in C, C++ or Java - Understanding of Spring Framework, Angular/AngularJS, and HTML5 - Knowledge of kernel/embedded systems programming - Multi-threaded, locking and memory management concepts - Experience with SQL (PostgresSQL) or NoSQL (Cassandra) database   - Strong mechanical aptitude, experience with Solidworks (3D parametric modeling) mechanical design; Experience in Labview VI programming - Experience with various I/O protocols, such as PCIe, SAS, SATA, Gigabit Ethernet and IPSec; High speed design experience (> 1Gbs) - Direct experience with x86 or ARM computer architectures and chipsets
