The hotel bar/restaurant is a fast-casual concept restaurant offering an eclectic menu including a variety of refreshing to-go options as well as full sit-down fare including cocktails, wine, beer, and Starbucks coffee. The Server/Cook will handle various tasks involving food and drinks preparation (both alcoholic and non-alcoholic.
Serving a wide variety of food & beverage functions, from serving coffee and other beverages (including alcohol);
Preparing ingredients for cooking, including portioning, chopping, and storing food.
Orders processing and collecting payment from customers;
Aiding in food & beverage areas including busing, cleaning, resetting tables, and delivering food to guests.
General cleaning and maintenance of food and beverage prep areas;
Counting the bank at end of shifts and following property control audit standards and cash handling procedures.
Following all company and safety and security policies and procedures;
Report accidents, injuries, and unsafe work conditions to manager;
Completing of safety training and certifications;
Ensuring uniform and personal appearance are clean and professional;
Maintaining confidentiality of proprietary information and protecting company assets;
Welcoming and acknowledging all guests according to company standards;
Anticipating and addressing guests’ service needs;
Assisting individuals with disabilities and thanking guests with genuine appreciation.
Communicating professionally with others;

Skills and Requirements
Completion of alcohol service training and obtaining a permit to serve alcohol is required;
Move, lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects weighing less than or equal to 25 pounds without assistance and objects in excess of 50 pounds with assistance.
Ability to effectively and efficiently communicate
Exceptional customer service skills
Ability to handle monetary transactions
Stands, sits, or walks for an extended time period.

18 years or older
