POSITION SUMMARY:

The purpose of the Service Technician position will be to provide technical service and support to JK Group USA customers. This position can be remote but would require travel at least once a month to Soddy Daisy, TN.

 

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS INCLUDE:

  • Provide remote phone and email support to JK Group customers daily.
  • Conduct all JK Group Dealer trainings and customer demonstrations utilizing equipment in the Digital Technology Center.
  • In-house liaison between Customer Care, Sales and Field Service Technicians.
  • Provide onsite service and support to JK Group customers located in North America if needed.
  • Assist Customer Care with internal processes and completion of documentation such as Customer Claim Forms.
  • Assist Customer Care/Purchasing with proper identification of printer/equipment part numbers using printer schematics.
  • Build custom profiles to provide customer samples for sales team.
  • Will be able to test new products and provided feedback for Research and Development team.
  • Complete service report after each customer visit.
  • Identify new sales opportunity while troubleshooting technical issues on site
  • Create samples for the sales team.
  • Will be required to travel if needed for onsite technical support.
  • This position can be remote but would require travel at least once a month to Soddy Daisy, TN.

 

JOB SPECIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor’s Degree is nice to have or equivalent experience.
  • 5 plus years’ experience with digital printers.
  • 2 plus years’ experience in the textile industry.
  • Technical knowledge on mimaki, mutoh, MS, Reggiani, durst printers preferred.
  • Knowledge on ergosoft, wasatch, caldera or other rip software preferred.
  • Customer service skills.
  • Basic troubleshooting (mechanical/color management – dye sub related) skills, mainly done over the phone.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Speak and write in a clear and understandable manner for internal and external relations.
  • Technical knowledge of parts and products.
