Uptown Airport Group, located at the RALEIGH-DURHAM INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT, is seeking full time applicants with flexible availability to serve as shift/ hourly manager.

$100 HIRING BONUS offered to new hires who remain employed for a minimum of 90 days.

The Shift Manager is responsible for assisting in all restaurant activities and the day-to-day operations of the unit. The Shift Manager works to ensure that all activities are consistent with and support the overall vision of Uptown Airport Group and its Brands – To Satisfy the Customer. The Shift Manager ensures all employees (Crew Leader and Crew Persons) are performing their job responsibilities and meeting expectations in all areas of their job descriptions. The Shift Manager must be able to oversee the store in the GM and Assistant Manager’s absence. The Shift Manager will report directly to the Assistant Manager or GM.

The Shift Manager’s responsibilities include but are not limited to the following activities:

  • The Shift Manager is responsible for maintaining the highest standards of food quality , exceptional customer service and immaculate cleanliness (QSC) and sanitation at all times.
  • The Shift Manager, as directed by the General Manager and Assistant Manager, is responsible for directing the daily operations of the restaurant and ensuring compliance with company standards in all areas of operation, including product management, customer service, cost control, inventory management, ordering, and storage organization.
  • The Shift Manager will accept and check in all deliveries.
  • The Shift Manager must demonstrate proficiency and knowledge in brand standards and procedures.
  • The Shift Manager must be able to work all shifts and understand every position within the operation.
  • The Shift Manager will counsel and discipline crew members as necessary.
  • The Shift Manager continuously works to improve the skills, knowledge and abilities of all employees. The Shift Manager will treat the employees with dignity and respect and create an environment where employees treat everyone, especially the customer, the way you want to be treated.
  • The Shift Manager will assist in the evaluation of each employee’s performance based on clearly communicated standards and expectations.
  • The Shift Manager is responsible for managing labor during their shift.
  • The Shift Manager will interact directly with customers to ensure that expectations are exceeded.
  • The hours may range from 4:00am to 9:00pm. You must have the flexibility to work various days of the week and varied hours.
  • All candidates must be able to pass a federal TSA background check.

  • Must be friendly, engaging, and must possess superb customer service skills.
  • Must provide 110% customer satisfaction.
  • Must be able to work at a fast pace and have a sense of urgency.
  • Must be able to work complete scheduled shifts with excellent attendance and punctuality.
  • Must be approved for airport badge through TSA.

Pay: From $13.00 per hour

COVID-19 considerations:
To maintain safety of our team members and customers, we have installed plexiglass at our registers and we require masks and gloves be worn at all times. We sanitize and disinfect frequently used surfaces and deep clean the restaurant often.
