PC Technical Support Specialist (Naval Hospital Cherry Point, NC) POSITION: PC Technical Support Specialist - MUST BE A U.S. CITIZEN. Fast growing Information Technology and Management Services Company with city, state and federal clients is seeking a PC Technical Support Specialist to work with our government client in the Havelock/Jacksonville/Greenville area. The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills; must have outstanding time management & organizational skills and the ability to handle multiple tasks with limited direction in an environment where priorities can change rapidly; and must demonstrate attention to detail with the ability to be thorough and complete. REQUIREMENTS/ Minimum Qualifications: U.S. CITIZEN, SECURITY Plus Certification, Microsoft Certification The successful candidate will have experience troubleshooting hardware and software problems related to desktop computers, Print servers, scanners, printers, desktop video/video teleconference systems, and peripherals (external drives, scanners, etc.).. This is a full-time position located at the Naval Health Clinic Cherry Point, NC. U.S. CITIZENSHIP IS REQUIRED. Qualifications: Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience with certifications. Six (6) years of general experience plus certifications is considered equivalent to a Bachelor’s Degree. MCP, Windows 7, or MCTS certification is required Security + Certification or equivalent. Ability to troubleshoot hardware and software problems related to desktop computers, scanners, PDAs, desktop and printers. Working knowledge and understanding of TCP/IP network environment Ability to analyze, diagnose, recommend and implement solutions for hardware and software problems. Microsoft operating systems current and future and Microsoft applications current and future. Strong analytical and organizational skills and able to work in a team environment. Knowledge and understanding of data communications standards, Local Area Networks (LANs), Wide Area Networks (WANs), Internet www, Internet working technologies, networking terminology, and networking protocols.
