Precision Welder / Fabricator

Sunset Manufacturing is hiring an experienced precision welder/fabricator to assist in meeting our growing production needs and expanding customer demand at our St. Joseph operation.

This production floor position offers a competitive salary and comprehensive benefits packaging including: 401K, paid vacation and holidays, and a positive working environment. The typical shift is Monday–Friday, 7:30am-4:00pm, with overtime based on customer demand. Requirements:

· Experience TIG welding in stainless steel, mild steel and aluminum ranging from .030– .250”

· Knowledge of precision sheet metal fabrication and assembly

· Ability to read and understand blueprints

· Work from verbal and written instruction, bills of material, routing, samples, blueprints and control plans

· Inspect work for accurate completion

· Perform quality inspections to ensure work meets or exceeds customer specifications

· Participate in ongoing business process improvement to enhance overall productivity

· Overtime may be required

Qualifications:

· Trade school or equivalent certification or experience

· Demonstrated metal fabrication experience

· Dependable work history and team performer
