The Opportunity

We are looking for a high-performing HR/Administrative Assistant to join our HR team. As an HR/Administrative Assistant, you will support the company’s executives in all HR & Admin-related work, including the maintenance of HR records, administration of employee benefits, employee engagement, and payroll processing. You also assist in the improvement and upkeep of the office environment, as well as all office supplies.

This means you will:

  • Maintain employee confidence and protect operations by keeping human resource information confidential
  • Maintain quality service by following organization standards
  • Assist in managing HR-related documentation and ensure all  relevant updates are made as required; proofread and type documents and correspondence produced by the department
  • Assist with payroll preparation by collecting time and attendance records
  • Assist in office administrative tasks
  • Coordinate logistics for new hire orientations
  • Coordinate supplies for new hires as well as existing employees
  • Assist in training new employees and answering questions
  • Coordinate and oversee HR events and meetings; coordinate management-employee communications
  • Assist with preparation of human resource reports such as attendance, new hire, and turnover reports
  • Ensure the overall comfort, safety, and cleanliness of the office environment
  • Assist with incoming calls and introduce visitors to the correct person without delay or confusion
  • Receive and distribute office mail
  • Continuously learn the latest HR best practices to improve workplace efficiency
  • Complete ad hoc HR and Admin tasks as required

What we are looking for:

  1. High School diploma
  2. Minimum of 3 years administrative/HR assistant experience
  3. Solid customer service, communication, and organizational skills
  4. Professional phone demeanor
  5. Flexibility to work under tight deadlines and shifting priorities
  6. Ability to occasionally work before 8 AM and after 5 PM
  7. Reliability and punctuality
  8. Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
  9. Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  10. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite or similar software
  11. Ability to maintain confidential information
