School Van Drivers *Up to $22/ HR 

Relia Transportation actively hiring school bus drivers for their Connecticut (Stratford) location. We are looking for safe, friendly drivers to help transport our students to and from school. Experience is not needed for this position; our elite team of trainers will teach and train you to be a license Driver.

Job Responsibilities:

• Must be able to lift or drag 50 lbs and be able to operate a lift and the mandatory equipment needed to transport
• Must be able to and from pickup locations/schools using a route sheet and GPS unit
• Must be able to communicate effectively with students, staff and parents throughout the duration of their trip
• Perform pre-trip/maintenance according to the state of Connecticut General Standards
• Complete DVIR manual daily and report any defects
• Must complete and pass all training, evaluations and operate vehicles in a safe manner
• Perform additional duties related to the role

Requirements:

• Your most recent copy of your driving history
• A copy of your most recent r-360/training history from your previous employer (if applicable)
• Ability to pass a pre-employment drug and alcohol screening and able to pass random drug screens throughout employment
• Must be able to train and pass a company road evaluation
• Must learn and be proficient at using a lift the necessary equipment needed to transport a wheelchair
