Job Overview:

A Packaging Operator is responsible for the efficient production and quality of our products manufactured in partnership with the Machine Operator. A Packaging Operator will also perform all duties necessary to maintain packaging equipment at base conditions while performing packaging functions.

Responsibilities and Duties:

• Ability to read, comprehend, and execute job orders per customer requirements.
• Perform quality checks per quality control standards
• Set Up and make minor adjustments to packaging line equipment to maintain quality and productivity.
• Execute job change activities which includes changing of raw materials of packaging line equipment.
• Record centerline settings for packaging equipment
• Maintain 6S standards.
• Basic understanding of minor equipment adjustments and start up/shutdown procedures.
• Completion of all rework activities.
• Must be able to work in a team environment in conjunction with the Machine Operator.
• Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

• Prior warehouse or manufacturing environment experience preferred.

Technologies:

• Basic computer skills
• Basic math skills

Physical Requirements:

• Must be able to properly lift in excess of 30lbs.
• Must be able to stand on feet for 8-12 hours a day.
