We are searching for a physical therapist with experience working with burn patients to join the rehab team at Ohio State Wexner Medical Center in Columbus, OH. The Ohio State Wexner MedicalCenter is a teaching hospital associated with The Ohio State University that provides opportunities for clinical advancement and research. This physical therapy position has a clinical focus of treating burn patients on our verified burn unit, as well as inthe critical care setting, and carries an average daily caseload of 8 to 9 identified high-yield burn patients. While this position has a focus on the burn population, it also allows opportunities to service general medicine/surgery, long-term care, inmate,observation, and emergency department patients. All clinicians work closely with nursing staff, psychologists, burn surgeons and physician's assistants, as well as other members of the multidisciplinary team to create a holistic approach to all patients.
