The role is role responsible for managing a team that renews the breadth of the Quest Software portfolio through an established channel infrastructure. Responsibilities Primary responsibility is managing a team of renewal representatives in addition to the operations and related reporting supporting the Public Sector renewal businesses. The manager trains, mentors, coaches, and supervises renewal representatives, both Quest employees as well as those employed by a 3 rd party who works with customers on our behalf. Prioritizes and allocates resources. Typically works with the field sales organization to ensure that renewal representatives are provided adequate support in the field. Maintain and develop strong channel partnerships, both at tactical as well as program level, specifically owning the PS renewal channel business relationship. Responsible for setting weekly targets, productivity goals, quoting deadlines, and ensuring revenue quota is attained and overall partner/customer satisfaction is achieved. -Responsible for renewal sales targets aligned to Public Sector renewals. -Manage accurate forecast for opportunities in the assigned region(s). -Management of renewal reps aligned to public sector territories, inclusive of lapsed/coverage resources assigned to these territories. Ensure consistent and appropriate levels of activity and daily output. -Build and then maintain an intimate understanding of maintenance booking potential, renewal rate and loss analysis. -Share key findings of day to day with management and lead projects to continuously improve renewal operations/systems in scope of region. -Oversight in all batch quote systems and ensuring accurate and timely distribution of opportunities to primary partner. -Contribute as necessary to systems stabilization, optimization, and testing of new functionality within renewal usage scope. -Periodically review business processes to identify areas of inefficiencies and team with leadership to execute on improvement planning within territories. -Responsible for the development and performance of all renewals activities in assigned team, both in house and thru 3 rd party, including general partner enablement and sharing of best practices -Manages the hiring, staffing, and maintaining of a diverse and effective workforce, including developing bench of junior renewal reps. -Builds a collaborative renewals model with our Public Sector sales teams. -Quarterly preparation for partner specific business review. Partner may be typically onsite or virtual for these reviews (when travel permitted). -Onsite visit to primary partner site (Northern Virginia) 1 – 2 times per year, typically timed with a quarterly business review. Qualifications -2 years’ experience leading a team in management role -Undergraduate degree and 4 years related Inside Sales or Renewals experience -Industry experience with Software or Technology highly desired -Experience selling via the channel (2 and 3 tier) -Demonstrated ability to lead by example and motivate other team members -Proven track record for success against KPIs -Excellent interpersonal and presentation skills -US Citizen -US Federal Security Clearance desired or Clearable -Some travel may apply (less than 10%) Preferences -Prior experience with public sector renewals, specifically within the federal segment -Located in metro Washington DC area (office located in Rockville, MD) or Columbus, OH (co-located with commercial renewal team) Company Description At Quest, we create and manage the software that makes the benefits of new technology real.
