Currently, we are hiring for the following day and night shift positions:
Prep Cooks, who are responsible for:
- Maintaining and monitoring rotation of food items and overall food safety
- Preparing all mixed, blended, and cooked recipe items and components specific to Barberitos’ standard
- Cleaning and maintaining all kitchen equipment and supplies
- Maintaining walk in cooler cleanliness, organization, and supply levels
- Assisting with dishes, taking out trash, sweeping and mopping and maintaining cleanliness of 4-comparment sink stations
**** Prep Cook scheduling is 8am-4pm daily. Seeking full time and Weekend Prep Cooks! Inquire during interview! ****
Cashiers, who are responsible for:
- Handling cash, card, app, and contactless transactions
- Providing exemplary guest service at the point of sale
- Performing general cashiers tasks on a tablet-based POS system
- Answering the telephone
- Preparing food components such as brewing teas, frying tortilla chips and salad and taco shells
- Restocking our self-serve drink station and salsa bar
- Rolling burritos, preparing nachos and other entrée items
- Washing dishes, taking out trash, sweeping and mopping and maintaining cleanliness of station and dining area
- Maintaining organization of call in or online orders
- Aiding in other opportunities to help the team stay organized and clean
Grill & Line Cooks, who are responsible for:
- Grilling and cutting chicken and steak
- Helping maintain cleanliness
- Cooking and reheating proteins for service, such as chicken, steak, tofu, and ground turkey
- Interacting positively with guests
- Maintaining most current knowledge of menu items, pricing, and specials
- Serving guests throughout the day in a quick and efficient manner
- Maintaining and monitoring rotation of food items and overall food safety
- Providing outstanding guest service
- Aiding in other opportunities to help the team stay organized and clean
