Attendance Clerk and Secretary at Severance High School : Starting January 4, 202. Prefer experience using Infinite Campus Student Database system. This position will help with attendance as well as other front office duties.

SALARY RANGE 7: $15.37 - $18.74 Salary placement is based on years of experience and education.

QUALIFICATIONS:

* High School diploma or equivalent
* Certificate of good health
* Computer skills desirable
* Demonstrated clerical and general office skills
* Demonstrated interpersonal skills
* Record of dependability

REPORTS TO: Administrative Secretary

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

* Works with other members of the office staff to maintain school attendance records.
* Must relate well with students, parents, and other staff members.
* Perform repetitious tasks related to record keeping with a high level of quality.
* Must demonstrate flexibility and work under a multiple demand environment.
* Must demonstrate confidentiality in all matters.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

* Process, record, and maintain all hourly and daily attendance records
* Verify absences with parents or guardians
* Initiate and distribute attendance reports to staff, parents, and administration
* Maintain attendance data base for each student
* Notify administration regarding possible attendance problems to comply with district policy or building procedures
* Interact appropriately with students regarding attendance documentation
* Maintain proficiency on all software and hardware requirements of the position
* Perform all other clerical and reception duties as may be required by the building administration
* Perform all other duties as may be assigned by the building administration

TERMS OF EMPLOYMENT: At will employee of the district. Work year and salary to be established by the Board of Education.
