Urban Food Group is seeking a dedicated, passionate salaried sous chef with an interest in moving upwards into Chef positions within a company offering competitive salary and benefits.

Interested applicants should have a love for creating innovative dishes made from fresh ingredients, bought locally when possible.
Open availability, reliable transportation, and a strong work ethic is an absolute requirement! We work very hard but have a great time doing it and are looking to find more employees with that attitude!
Ideal candidate will possess the following skills:
* experience as a manager in high volume kitchens
* ability to multitask
* manage staff
* excellent knife and butchery skills
* ability to work a station on line as necessary
* ability to train staff
* experience with ordering, inventory, labor and food cost
* creative menu development
* team player
* excellent communication skills
* ability to work independently and run kitchen when chef is off
* bilingual is a plus
* culinary school preferred but not mandatory
* knowledge of word/excel/adobe/aloha preferred
Our restaurants operate 7 days/week, Lunch and Dinner service.
