Training Manager 6am-3pm

FISH Window Cleaning – Collegeville doing business since 2003 is a premier window cleaning company in the Philadelphia suburbs specializing in providing year-round maintenance cleaning for retail/commercial businesses as well as residential properties.

*At least 1 year of professional window cleaning experience required.*

Job Summary:

A Training manager is responsible for building and maintaining a “Helpful” culture. Each morning the training manager will greet and engage in conversation with every cleaner, help them with work orders, equipment, help them load vehicles, in order to show the cleaners appreciation and be available to them in the morning. This position is responsible for training new window cleaners for the entire 4 week training period. The Training Manager will be responsible to integrate and welcome new people to the team. When there is not a trainee, the Training Manager will work with each cleaner in rotation for continued training and to remind the cleaners that they are part of a team. The training manager will regularly be using a company vehicle and rarely (if ever) cleans alone. They will provide continuous coaching and encouragement.

  • At least 1 year experience of professional window cleaning required
  • Proven ability to build and maintain a team
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to motivate others to perform assigned tasks
  • May be required to write occasional estimates
  • Experience selling and/or working with customers preferred
  • Responsible for conflict resolution with unsatisfied customers. 
  • Manage cleaners including performance reviews, discipline and recognition
  • Previous management experience preferred
  • Good oral and written communication skills
  • Ability to train others
  • Valid driver’s license
  • Reliable transportation
  • Liability car insurance
  • Ability to read a street guide and follow directions
  • Provide excellent customer service
  • Able to count money and make change
  • Self-motivated and able to work alone
  • 6am start Monday-Friday

Physical Requirements:

  • Able to assemble, lift and climb ladders up to 30 feet
  • Able to stand on feet for long periods of time
  • Able to lift up to 60 lbs.
  • Able to do repetitive motion with hands, wrist and arms
  • Able to work with arms above head
  • Able to bend and squat to ground level
  • Able to work in temperatures ranging from 0 to 110 degree
