Driver/Life Enrichment Assistant - Part-time

Overview

Aegis Living Galer located at 223 W Galer St. in beautiful Queen Anne is seeking a motivated and positive individual to join their team as a driver and key member of the Life Enrichment Team in a Part-Time role. Wage DOE.

Monday and Wednesday (Life Enrichment) 9:00-5:00

Tuesday and Thursday (Driving) 9:00-3:00

Responsibilities

In this role, your responsibilities may include:

• Transport residents at the Community
• Perform activities in the community that engage the residents, and improve quality of life
• Communicate effectively with the Galer team, and the Life Enrichment Director
• Practice effective team behavior
• Demonstrate effective interpersonal relationships
• Is organized and manages time effectively
• Build resident and family satisfaction

Qualifications

Qualifications and Requirements:

• Experience working with the senior population
• A valid state driver's license, clean driving record, and any specialized licenses (or the willingness an capability to acquire) required to operate multi-passenger vehicles (state specific)
• Skilled at building relationships with residents
• Good navigational skills
• Must meet all health requirements, including acceptable results on TB screen.
• Must meet State requirements on criminal background check.
• Must be a minimum age of 21 to run errands for the community and 25 years of age to transport residents
