Location: Covington - 00, 109 Northpark Blvd., 4th Floor, Covington, Louisiana - 70433

Key responsibilities:
  • Contribute to our digital transformation, helping to implement a more sophisticated data strategy.
  • Leverage data from vendors / suppliers, customers, and external sources to develop actionable insights to help build and refine strategic and go-to-market plans.
  • Work closely with stakeholders to define the most pressing business questions and build analytical frameworks to find answers.
  • Develop analytics to more accurately track market share and key drivers of growth.
  • Identify key metrics and develop automated reporting capabilities / dashboards to enable us to keep our finger on the pulse of the business.
  • Create documents and presentations to share information and insights; lead data visualization efforts to help tell the story to the intended audience.
  • Develop consistent approaches and methodologies, automate repeatable tasks and drive process efficiencies.
  • Help drive a culture of data-driven decision making, working with the extended marketing team to develop their analytical skill sets.
  • 4+ years proven success developing new marketing analytics and reports for actionable insights to enable data-driven decision making.
  • Skilled at database querying using SQL (or similar query language).
  • Skilled at BI/visualization tools (Excel, Tableau, etc).
  • Experience with Google Analytics and social analytics
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to translate complex ideas into simple and intuitive communications and actionable insights.
  • Demonstrated ability to problem solve and manage multiple complex projects in a fast-paced environment.
  • Able to work independently and comfortable managing ambiguity and change.
  • Bachelor's degree
  • Experience with marketing mix modeling and multi-touch attribution
  • Experience with customer segmentation and lifetime value analytics
  • Experience with Microsoft Dynamics
Working Relationships:
  • This position reports to the Director of Customer & Corporate Marketing
  • This position will regularly interact with the rest of Marketing, IT, Field Sales, and Product Management.
Work Environment:
  • Ideally located in Covington, LA (POOLCORP Corporate Headquarters) but would consider remote work for the right candidate.
  • Able to travel up to 15% of the time.
