Seeking a Child and Adolescent Psychiatrist treating Eating Disorders in our Plano, TX location

How you’ll serve our patients

As a Physician you will be working closely with all disciplines to ensure top of the line care for our patients.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities: 

• IP, RES & PHP

• 18-20 patients per day, typical length of stay for residential is 30-days, psychiatrist to see patients x2 per week, sometimes up to 3 times depending on case. 

• Treating ages 11-17 yrs old

• Schedule; 1.0 FTE 

• Full-support staff; Dieticians, ProT, PriT, Primary Care, Clinical Manager, Admin, Case Manager, NP/PA.

• Obtain medical histories, and order, perform and interpret diagnostic tests

• Achieve quality metrics by focusing on clinically relevant outcome measures 

• Advocate for patients by providing consistent and timely documentation regarding the patients need for level of care

Must haves, great to haves and bonus qualities

• Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO)
• Completion of a psychiatric residency program from an accredited residency program
• Board eligible in in appropriate specialty (board certified preferred)
