A DAY IN THE LIFE AS A SHIFT MANAGER

As a Shift Manager, you run shifts and are motivated to help team members succeed. You come to work with the goal to work hard, lead, teach, and contribute to a great environment in our restaurant. You eagerly interact with team members and customers throughout your shift. You are proud of the high-quality, fresh food that is delivered to our happy customers. When challenging opportunities arise, you take charge and provide excellent customer service.

During each shift, you complete the necessary paperwork to make sure our restaurant continues to run smoothly. You complete daily inventories, drawer counts, and compile and deliver deposits. Using your eye for detail, you control labor, food, and cash according to procedures. You have great communication skills and are able to keep employees engaged and motivated. Your leadership skills are essential as you assist with the training of new employees. And your willingness to work right alongside your team helps create a cooperative environment based on teamwork.

QUALIFICATIONS

• At least 18 years old
• Six months or more experience running shifts in the restaurant industry
• Food handler's permit
• Ability to work a flexible schedule
• Ability to pass a drug test

• Legally authorized to work in the United States

Preferred qualifications:

• 16 years or older
