The Medical Director of ERC/Pathlight ensures that the day-to-day operations are managed responsibly. Works proactively with the executive team, management team and staff.

Eating Recovery Center in Bellevue, WA
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Manages medical and clinical programs through subordinate managers and staff physicians.
- Directs and evaluates hospital medical and therapeutic services
- Carries a full-case load (this is not Administrative only)
- Case Load is 18-24 patients in PHP/RES setting
- Participates in staffing meetings regarding patient care and progress
- Elicits and records information about patient's medical history and progress.
- Attends patients admitted for treatment
- Administers or prescribes treatments and medications
- Directly manages physicians and psychiatrists, employed or contracted.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Demonstrated high level qualities of leadership in an organizational context.
- An inspirational leader with the creativity and imagination to motivate staff and produce outcomes that move the Center forward in achieving its mission and vision.
- Knowledge of regulatory body requirements (Joint Commission, etc.)
- Ability to plan, direct, delegate and supervise a diverse workforce of professional and support personnel.
- Experience with eating disorders preferred
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
- Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO)
- Completion of a psychiatric, pediatric, or adolescent residency program from an accredited medical school
- Board eligible in in appropriate specialty (board certified preferred)
- Minimum of 5 years experience as a practicing Psychiatrist, required
- Experience as a Medical Director, preferred
CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS:
- Licensed to practice medicine in state of employment or state of assignment
- Completed and met clinical competency standards
