PRIMARY FUNCTION: Primarily responsible for ensuring feed is accurately delivered to farms. Performs other administrative feed tasks.
RESPONSIBILITIES AND TASKS:
Communicate with field representatives to ensure accurate feed request orders.
Create feed orders and dispatch orders utilizing computer software program.
Input weekly farm inventories from field representatives.
Under minimal supervision, verify and process incoming invoices for payment
Perform general clerical duties (i.e. filing, email correspondence, answering telephones, etc.) for assigned location
Compile required data (i.e. ingredients, feed delivery, deliveries, mill performance etc.), create requested reports and disseminate to appropriate personnel
Accurately enter invoices into M-Tech system and verifying proper G/L coding and
Maintain required documentation files (i.e. receiving documents, feed delivery tickets invoice files, etc.) ensuring historical data is available
Analyze inventory transactions and create monthly journal entries for month end close
Other duties as assigned by management

EDUCATION AND CERTIFICATIONS:
High School diploma or equivalent; Associates' degree in Finance, Accounting Business or other related field preferred
EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS:
Minimum two (2) years applicable relevant accounting experience
Proficient with 10-key calculator by touch
Proficient computer skills with knowledge of Microsoft Office suite (Excel, Word, and Outlook)
Must have exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written, and the ability to keep sensitive information confidential and appropriately handle situations and resolve issues efficiently and effectively
Ability to work in a fast paced environment using excellent organizational skills and precise attention to detail
Strong customer focus with the ability to communicate with all levels of the organization in a timely and professional manner
Must possess a strong customer-centric attitude, high energy level and a strong sense of urgency
Follow all departmental and company safety policies and programs
Moderate use of hands/fingers to operate computer, keyboard and mouse; may sit for extended periods of time
Occasionally lift up to 20 lbs
