Responsibilities
This position supports the US Navy's Tactical Signatures Program. This program develops and delivers tactical decision aids to the warfighter that allow operators to maximize the effectiveness of tactical sonar systems on US Navy platforms. This high visibility role will design and develop sonar applications including real-time acoustic signal processing, parallel processing applications, real-time data analysis, and visualizations and simulates.
Qualifications
BS 2-4 Years, MS 0-2 or HS 8-10
This role requires a BS degree from an accredited educational institution in Engineering, Mathematics, Physical Sciences, or Computer Science and approximately five years of experience. Experience should include some design and development of real-time acoustic signal processing algorithms, parallel processing algorithms, service oriented architectures, or real time data analysis/visualization.
Ideal candidate will have expereince in one of these languages. C, C++, java or fortran. Experience wth webservices, middleware and user interfaces.
