Position Scope:
The Quality Systems Professional works closely with TTM North America sites to support implementation and improvements of TTM quality systems while focusing on helping sites achieve high level performance through execution of key projects, ensuring compliance, and tracking key performance indicators. This role requires a cross-functional problem solving, teamwork, and analytical focus with an understanding of TTM products and processes. The ideal candidate is able to work independently with flexibility and authority over daily work priorities.
 
Duties and Responsibilities:
  • In partnership with Sr. Quality Systems Manager:
  • Implements quality systems and system enhancements to help ensure TTM site compliance to industry and customer requirements
  • Manages quality alert system by working with sites on required alerts and ensuring closure of alert actions
  • Conducts audits of sites’ quality management systems and as needed. Also conducts  corporate audits for different North America TTM sites and tracks/follows-up with sites to drive appropriate remedies/resolution
  • Trains sites on root cause analysis and taking corrective and preventative actions
  • Supports roll-out of the TTM 9 continuous improvement platform, including aligning site maturity assessments with the corporate audit process when possible; maintaining SME tracking and recognition program; and driving usage and improvement of SharePoint
  • Administers Supplier Self-Assessment Survey (SSAS) process in support of procurement team including reviewing supplier assessments, distributor letters, and certifications for legitimacy; conducting supplier audits; and tracking and managing supplier capability testing as needed
  • Manages MIL Pref. / DLA validation testing and tracking involving definition and tracking of annual plan that aligns key materials to TTM sites who will take lead for incoming audit testing
  • Oversees UL system for site materials testing requirements. Conducts training on UL portal usage and project implementation.  Manages requests and updates results
  • Serves as IPC trainer; oversees IPC training tracking management systems; ensures sites maintain training and certifications in system
  • Collects and analyzes TTM site data; develops presentations and reports supporting projects and/or monthly/quarterly reports and dashboard metrics 
  • Performs other duties as assigned

Essential Knowledge and Skills:
  • Solid working knowledge of the quality requirements associated customer and industry standards including; ISO/AS, NADCAP, UL, IPC, DLA, etc.  Knowledge of quality procedures and ability to troubleshoot and analyze problems
  • Proven analytical and problem solving skills, including root cause analysis and data interpretation
  • Willingness to be part of a team and to drive improvement plans and projects to successful completion
  • Excellent verbal and written communications, interpersonal, and organizational skills
  • Proficient computer skills with knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook
  • Ability to work effectively with all levels of the organization
Education and Experience:
  • Bachelor’s degree in related field or equivalent experience
  • One to two years of professional experience in quality and / or manufacturing

Export/ITAR Statement:
