The position is located in West Sacramento, CA.

PM Shift (1330 - 2200) 1:30 pm - 9:00 pm

Pays 8% shift differential.

PRIMARY PURPOSE:

Under direct supervision, this position is responsible for the duties related to the receipt and shipment of materials and equipment. May assist with mobile staging and pre-pack functions.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

1. Performs all assigned duties in compliance with internal SOPs and external regulations. Brings compliance issues to the attention of management.

2. Assures quality customer service to all customers.

3. Maintains inventory level in mobile stocking area to meet department requirements while minimizing transportation charges.

4. Delivers supplies/equipment to collection departments and other sites based on department needs.

5. Assists with coordinating the receipt and shipment of materials and equipment specific to collections.

6. Drives a company vehicle to assist deliveries and pickups of blood products as needed.

7. Supports vehicle movements to/from maintenance providers based on need.

8. Assist warehouse operations to fill orders and package shipments.

9. Responsible for assuring adequate inventory and pre-packing of necessary supplies and equipment used to stage mobiles.

10. Assists with preparation of shipping supplies for storage and transport of blood units collected on mobile blood drives. Replace collection equipment as needed.

11. Assist in the loading/ unloading of blood drive supplies from Box Trucks, Sprinters or Bloodmobiles. Returning of supplies/equipment for replenishment.

12. Regulated waste must be properly disposed per local regulations.

13. Manages biowaste after blood drive. Such as handling biowaste safely into biowaste cage, maintaining biowaste cage, semi-annual receptacle cleaning, and tracking of weekly Stericycle pick up.

14. Assists with eProgesa Consumables ensuring that required supplies are currently live in the system after new inventory is received.

15. Fuel/ Park all non CMV/CDL vehicles. (May be reassignable depending on region).

16. Assists with the maintenance of assigned locations to include property and physical assets, equipment repair and replacement.

17. Performs all other duties, at the discretion of management, as assigned.

REQUIREMENTS:

Knowledge/ Education

High School graduate or GED required.

Knowledge of inventory control and warehouse operations preferred.

Licenses/ Certifications:

Valid in-state driver's license required.

Skills/Abilities

Good communication and customer relation skills.

Physical ability to lift up to 40 lbs., bend, stretch, reach, and sit.

Detail oriented.

Personal computer skills.

Must possess a valid driver's license and have an acceptable driving record.

Experience

Six months related experience required.

Knowledge of inventory control and warehouse operations preferred.
