How you will impact Ingevity:

  • Lead the Corporate FP&A team and work processes; provide coaching and staff development while bringing process creation/improvements and innovations to the function
  • Drive the company’s monthly reporting consolidation, analytics, and executive presentations
  • Manage corporate SG&A & HC reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and associated variance analysis
  • Work with the Head of FP&A to develop, test, and implement reporting and system improvements necessary to manage the business
  • Lead business analytics and design research initiatives to perform quantitative and qualitative analyses; organize data into logical communication and messages that support business decisions
  • Structure problem solving frameworks, build complex financial models, and assemble recommendations on corporate initiatives suitable for an executive audience
  • Oversees the access security for certain key financial reports and system
  • Strong financial, quantitative, and analytical skills required with experience in various modeling methodologies including DCF modeling and various other measures of ROI and TVM
  • Prior experience leading and growing a highly skilled team
  • Excellent organizational and project management skills; detail-oriented self-starter who can drive tactical execution
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to work cross-functionally; can communicate effectively with diverse technical and non-technical teams

What you need to succeed:

  • Bachelor’s in Finance, Accounting, or similar degree required; MBA preferred
  • 8 - 10 years working in analytical roles with significant financial modeling experience
  • Strong financial, quantitative, and analytical skills required with experience in various modeling methodologies including DCF modeling and various other measures of ROI and TVM
  • Prior experience leading and growing a highly skilled team
  • Excellent organizational and project management skills; detail-oriented self-starter who can drive tactical execution
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to work cross-functionally; can communicate effectively with diverse technical and non-technical teams
  • This position is eligible for relocation assistance.
