Truck Parking Policy (terminal, customer, home):  Terminal in GA within 50 mile radius or approved home location
Expected Miles per week: 2000+ average (4 loads = 1860 miles / 5 loads = 2325 miles)
Average Length of Haul:  380 miles loaded + 85 miles empty = 465 miles per load per day
Pay Package:  Standard Mileage
Expected Time at Home: Weekly and perhaps through the house once during the week as dispatches allow and dependent on drivers domicile location. Home on weekends for a 34 hour reset.
Freight Characteristics:  Some drop and hook. 50% one or the other; either preloaded pick up and live unload or live pick up and drop delivery.

Other: See typical lane tours below.   Although these are not the only lanes that we operate, they illustrate the typical type of length of haul and miles associated within our current SE Regional network.

Description of a typical day/week:  Drivers will be assigned and pre-assigned to various loads mostly from the customers listed above on loads picking up in the southeast.   Shipper locations and Delivery locations will vary, but we have regular lanes with contract customers that allow for predictable miles and predictable time at home.  Empty miles are approximately 85 miles per load with loaded miles averaging 380 miles thus creating a full 450+ mile length of haul. (See Round trip tours below).   This is a full day’s work and requires a driver willing to trip plan effectively and utilize their full DOT 11 hrs. of drive time each day.  It is expected that each driver complete a minimum of 4 turns back and forth on the lanes (2000+ miles) Mon-Fri with home time scheduled Sat/Sun.   At times drivers will be expected to leave out on Sunday for delivery Monday, but may arrive home earlier on Friday. Or perhaps arrive home later on Saturday and leave out later on Monday.  Flexibility is always appreciated and expected.  This is NOT a “dedicated” fleet hauling the same loads day in and day out.  It is an “over-the-road” random regional fleet, but drivers are typically always within a day’s drive of home.
