Position description: Peraton is seeking a Software Engineer IV candidate to support an Intelligence Community customer in the Washington D.C., Maryland, and Virginia area. The candidate will be responsible for every aspect of the software development process. From the inception of a particular functionality via a request from the * Assists with the development, documentation, and maintenance of architectures, requirements, algorithms, interfaces, and designs for software systems
* Develops and maintains code and integrates software components into a fully functional software system
* Assists with test procedures and documenting test results to ensure software system requirements are met
* Supports software project management and software supplier management functions.
* Selects, tailors, and deploys processes and tools; establishes metrics
* Troubleshoots software issues
BS 8-10, MS 6-8, PhD 3-5 Required Qualifications: * Bachelor's degree in a related field of study with 8+ years of relevant experience. Additional experience may be considered in lieu of degree.
* 2+ years of .NET software development experience
* 2+ years of experience with Windows Server development environments
* 2+ years of experience with Microsoft Visual Studio 2017/2019
* Must be a US Citizen
* Active TS/SCI clearance adjudication, and ability to pass a CI poly
* Ability to anticipate problems & take decisive action
Desired Qualifications: * 5+ years of knowledge in .NET, C#, Cloud and parallel computing, JavaScript, Node.JS, HTML, Database, or Big Data
* Experience with Agile Methodology
* Execution skills (self-direction, drive for results, individual accountability)
* Knowledge of popular programming frameworks (OSS and/or .NET)
* Knowledge of modern DevOps toolsets (Git, Azure DevOps)
* Experience developing, deploying, and managing distributed applications on cloud platforms
* Experience with container technologies (Docker, Kubernetes)
* Storage and file systems experience is a plus

Colorado Salary Minimum: $75,600 Colorado Salary Maximum: $183,300 The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position, and is just one component of Peraton's total compensation package for employees. Other rewards may include annual bonuses, short- and long-term incentives, and program-specific awards. In addition, Peraton provides a variety of benefits to employees.
