Team Lead / Adjudicator with Security Clearance

Parker Tide is a veteran-owned, small business in DC. We serve as a value-added partner to the government. We are seeking Team Lead Adjudicator to work with one of our DC clients. Period of Performance: One year and four option years Place of Performance: Office is in Washington, DC - one day onsite - 4 days telework. Clearance / Investigation Level: Top Secret / Tier 5 Salary: Depends on Experience Requirements * 4+ years' experience adjudicating ROIs via OPM guidelines, EO 10450 (security requirements for government employment), EO 12968 (access to classified information), and knowledge of reciprocal recognition of existing clearances and investigations. * Adjudication Certificate. * Expertise in Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint. * Detailed experience with e-QIP, CVS, US Access, and the OPM security processes. * Experience as a Personnel Security Project Lead. Description * Review and recommend adjudication regarding fitness determinations. * Prepare well written and concise summaries of derogatory and mitigating information contained in investigation reports. * Review OPM reports for quality and accuracy and identify discrepancies, inconsistencies, and areas potentially requiring clarification or additional investigation. * Prepare notices of proposed action, letters of interrogatory, and advisory letters to resolve suitability/security concerns for further clarification on reports of investigation. * Complete approximately 30-40 non-actionable issue suitability determinations on a weekly basis; cases with minor, moderate, substantial, and/or major issues may take longer. * Complete 25-30 substantial/major suitability determinations weekly including LOIs. * Prepare adjudicative analytical summaries, recommend course of action, and provide basis. * Create Excel Spreadsheet to track progress and report daily/weekly. * Complete the adjudication of approximately1500-2500 ROIs based on hiring projections. * Forward completed suitability determination for second level review and approval. * Provide information to second level reviewer to input final disposition into CVS database. * Comply with Intelligence Reform and Terrorism Prevention Act guidelines and metrics, to adjudicate national security cases within 20-days of the investigation closed date.
