Job Description

Since 1926, Camp Anokijig has offered campers of all ages a multitude of exciting and rewarding camp experiences. The Anokijig facility consists of 396 acres of forest, marsh, and farmland surrounding 2/3 of the shores of Little Elkhart Lake in Plymouth, WI. Programs include an extensive summer camp program annually serving nearly 3000 campers aged 7-16 in one-week camp sessions, 3 family camp weekends, a multitude of recreational group outings, and numerous outdoor education groups. Programming takes place primarily from April to November with the addition of winter weekend outings throughout January and February.

As a 501c3 not for profit organization there is a large reliance on volunteers for program delivery as well as annual camp set-up and tear-down. Applicants must be comfortable working with volunteers of multiple ages and skill sets.

For summer one driver needed to provide transport for up to 14 people to Camp on Sundays from Lake Forest Il with stops between. Second driver to pick up in Madison area with stops between. Sunday hours 8am-3pm. Return trips for campers Saturday morning 9am-4pm. CDL preferred but not required. Good driving record, ability to pass criminal background screening, willingness to obtain a Federal Drivers Medical Exam,kid friendly and customer focused required.

For 2022 season all staff will be required to show proof of being up to date on vaccination against Covid-19. (by CDC definition).

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $10.00 - $12.00 per hour
